RIDE! signs launch agreement with TakeMe2Space

European launch services provider RIDE! has just signed a contract with TakeMe2Space, the first Indian AI orbital data center for the launch of two satellites in Q3 2028. TakeMe2Space's constellation is the first orbital data center RIDE! will deploy.

The agreement between RIDE! and TakeMe2Space covers the satellites integration, verification, compliance with international regulations and oversight of the complete launch campaign. TakeMe2Space is a space data center company based in India that is set to deploy a constellation of six satellites. They plan to launch their first satellite in October 2026, following a successful IOD mission in 2024.

The idea of space-based data centers is now becoming a reality. The industry is increasingly interested in this cutting-edge technology, as evidenced by the $400 million in venture capital funding that in-orbit computing received in the first half of 2026. Processing data in orbit, close to where it is collected and powered by near-continuous sunlight, opens up applications that ground infrastructure cannot serve. RIDE! is already supporting these missions while the market is still forming. The launch services provider creates a standardized path for operators building in-orbit computing, AI and other emerging services.
